Sousuke Tachibana, a highly successful student, has been expressing his gratitude to his savior, the charming Kijima-kun, through a series of love letters. Unfortunately, due to a misinterpretation, these romantic confessions have ended up in the hands of Subaru Kijima - the object of Sousuke's admiration. Despite the fact that Subaru is known for causing trouble, Sousuke is inexplicably drawn to him and even shares a kiss. Although Sousuke agrees to date Subaru on a temporary basis until he finds someone else, Subaru is unaware that Sousuke reciprocates his love.
