Saki Fujimiya is a vampire hunter in a world where vampires roam free. Even though she attends school like a typical teenager, she spends her free time pursuing a particular vampire. But when she confronts her target, none of her strikes land, and the vampire, who goes by the name Miyoko Kujou, seizes the chance to drink Saki's blood. To Saki's surprise, Miyoko has no intention of killing her and, in fact, confesses her love for her. Though their brief meeting ends there, Miyoko continues to encounter Saki at school and makes a habit of drinking her blood. Despite the undeniable pleasure Saki derives from this, she always tries to kill Miyoko right after. Is this out of loyalty to her role as a vampire hunter, or is something else at play?
