Kyoto is famous for its various regions where young women work as geisha, skilled entertainers who perform traditional songs and dances. Among them is Kiyo Nozuki, a teenager who lives in a small mansion with a group of maiko, or novice geisha. At first, Kiyo aspired to become one of them, but she later discovered that the occupation was not suitable for her. Rather than losing hope, she decided to help her group in a way that leverages her skills by becoming a caterer and providing delicious meals that support them in their everyday work.
