At their high school entrance ceremony, Kasuga Niina, whose health is fragile, gets help from Koga Eito, a special class student. Niina is charmed by Eito's kind and gentle behavior and confesses her love. Together, they start a journey fraught with challenges of love.
As the days pass, though, Niina becomes unsure of Eito's intentions towards her. His actions seem to lack regard for her feelings, causing her distress. The thought of a future with Eito fills her with anxiety and dread, as she questions the sincerity of their relationship.
