Due to the negative reactions from those around her towards her animal ears, Neneko isolates herself despite possessing the power of a "miko." In an attempt to alleviate her loneliness, she creates a shikigami, an attractive man named Shichikage. However, when an opportunity arises for her to work in a clinic with other miko, Neneko decides to leave in hopes of finding a way to remove her ears and live a normal life. While there, she acquaints herself with the other miko and their shikigami, and embarks on a new journey of friendship and adapting to the challenges of being a miko.
