Douchinji Youichi is a boy who keeps his daydreams to himself, just like all humans who hide their true nature like wolves in sheep's clothing. But upon seeing a red full moon, Youichi is attacked and knocked unconscious by a girl with a silver knuckle. He wakes up unable to recall the incident but soon discovers that the girl is Akatsuki Ayame, a new student in his class.
Ayame's silver knuckle can bring out a person's inner desires, or "wolf," from beneath their surface persona, or "sheep." However, if these desires consume someone completely, they will see the World of Red Moon. Ayame does not have a "sheep" and asks Youichi to become hers. He agrees, starting a story of a red riding hood who devours the wolf.
