Despite being told that she has exceptional luck, Kuroha Yoitsuji's life seems to bring bad luck to those she encounters. She was orphaned at a young age and is now being used as a weapon by the leader of the Yakuza group "Hibauchi." Feeling responsible for the misfortune she brings to others, Kuroha attempts to escape her captor by jumping out a window. However, she is saved by Nijisuke Murokawa, a youth who refuses to believe in luck and instead sees events as coincidence.
As Kuroha tries to leave the city with Nijisuke and his mysterious companion Hokuto, she questions whether her savior is truly strong or if it is her who is weak. Is it possible for Kuroha to take control of her own fate and escape being used as a tool by others?
