Upon reaching high school, Yuki Anno's fortune took a sour turn. Her separation anxiety caused her to end up in a different class than her best friend Jiu, rendering her feeling like an outsider. Determined to establish new connections, Yuki apprehensively tried to meet new people but the idea of so many new faces made her feel uneasy. Fortunately, Yuki Saeki - Jiu's cousin - came to her aid and offered her a warm welcome, along with a piece of paper initiating their conversation. Later, Yuki finally mustered the courage to approach Jiu and Saeki about her aspiration to manage the football team, despite the existence of other girls seemingly more qualified for the role, rendering her hesitant about her abilities.
