All three one-shots are centered on the gashapon theme and showcase characters who are either schoolmates or friends. "Love Capsule Toy - Welcome, First Love," on the other hand, exhibit YanZhu summoning the courage to reveal her feelings for her senpai after getting a toy from Monmon's store. Finally, "Love Capsule Toy - A Prince without the Glass Slipper" narrates the tale of Zhou ZiYu, a Casanova who fortuitously meets his soulmate at a masque ball. This tale comprises three parts, making it the lengthiest among the three.
