Himeno Aikawa poses a challenge to Ouji Doumoto as he struggles to comprehend her austere conduct of reprimanding boys for breaching school rules. Thus, when she requests for a private conversation at the rear of the class, Ouji feels puzzled as to why Himeno has taken a liking towards him. Since Himeno battles to express herself, their association becomes intriguing as they misinterpret each other's self-assessment. Ouji perceives Himeno as daunting and strives to steer clear of her anger, whereas Himeno assumes that Ouji is her partner, albeit aggravatingly dense on occasions.
Due to Ouji's inability to decipher her feelings, Himeno becomes vexed and resorts to showcasing her favourite pastime, impersonating an adult much beyond her age, as a means to captivate Ouji. As the two elementary students continue their peculiar bond, they remain oblivious to each other's sentiments, leading to comical situations.
