Aikawa Wataru capitalizes on his father's transfer overseas to decide to reside independently in Japan. Despite being a recent entrant, Wataru agrees to become the Library Representative at the behest of his teacher. However, another Library Representative informs Wataru of a missing member, Kobayakawa Rinko. Without any prior knowledge of her appearance, Wataru embarks on a quest to find her. Regrettably, he overhears two girls conversing about Rinko in a negative light, attributing it to her unpleasant demeanor. The reasoning behind Rinko's unfavorable disposition remains unknown.
