Shiharu Nakamura, a teenage girl residing in an orphanage, has a great fondness for children and harbors a dream of running a daycare. She works part-time in a nursery where she meets the adorable two-year-old twins, Akane and Aoi Matsunaga. One day, Seiji Matsunaga, a charming young man, rushes to collect the twins, but they refuse to leave Shiharu's side. Amazed at their affection for Shiharu, Seiji implores her to babysit the twins, offering to pay twice her current daycare wage. Shiharu realizes this opportunity not only provides the chance to fulfill her dream but also covers her living and educational expenses. Thus, Love So Life chronicles the joyous moments of Shiharu and her makeshift family, including the twins, as they play, learn, and grow together, with the added bonus of Shiharu falling in love with them.
