1) Tooru Shinomiya, a college student, turns to prostitution after breaking into the modelling industry in "Lovers and Souls." Satoshi Matsuoka, his favourite client, could be the only one who can save him from his self-destructive lifestyle. However, Tooru also has a tragic connection to Hikaru Taira. "Lovers and Souls" is a prequel to "Rules 01," a part of the "Rules" series.
2) Following the events of "Lovers and Souls," "Vanity" continues Tooru's story. Desperately seeking comfort, Tooru pushes the boundaries of his friendship with Hikaru, leading to unforeseen consequences. Initially a doujinshi, "Vanity" is also part of the "Rules" series.
3) The events of "Lovers and Souls" are set in motion in "Sleeping Beauty," which depicts the first time Matsuoka sees Tooru.
4) In "Eternal Moon," Akihiko Nozaki, and Kai, two high school seniors, remain close despite Nozaki's sharing of his sexuality with his best friend, causing Kai to question his feelings towards Nozaki.
5) "Tomorrow's Sky" picks up where "Eternal Moon" left off, with a focus on Nozaki's uncertainty about his relationship with Kai and his struggles with past heartbreak. Oozora Publishing published this edition in 2007.
