Sir Noi Crezant, a talking lizard with an extraordinary tale, encounters college student Yuuhi Amamiya. Crezant cautions Yuuhi of Animus, a powerful mage who plots to demolish Earth using his dangerous Biscuit Hammer. The princess and her Beast Knights are Earth's only hope, as they vow to protect her and work towards the destruction of Animus. Yuuhi reluctantly accepts the role of Lizard Beast Knight, unsure of his capabilities. As Animus sends a golem to attack Yuuhi, the princess, Samidare Asahina, rushes to his aid, and he pledges his allegiance to her. However, Asahina's true motives are to eliminate Earth by stopping Animus. While the other Beast Knights hone their powers, Yuuhi and Asahina battle Animus's golems. Yuuhi is torn between joining Asahina's mission or saving Earth. Throughout these struggles, he discovers his true identity and must determine where his loyalty truly lies.
