Welcome to Otokita Manor, a refuge for numerous manga artists! The residents include Hana Fujimori, an 18-year-old budding manga artist who puts all her energy into everything but creating manga; Kanoko Imamura, Hana's equally aged roomie who offers her support but craves more responsibility; Moe Kitayama, an introverted and inexperienced manga artist with a touch of aggression; and Tamaki Nishikawa, an adept artist who counsels Hana and occasionally engages in mischief-making.
Mangaranai follows the daily adventures of these four lively ladies, filled with partying and plenty of antics. But will Hana ever buckle up and get down to producing manga amid all the buzz?
