Ryouta Arata, our protagonist, is an otaku who has recently been laid off from his job due to the disbandment of his company. In an effort to avoid reverting back to his former NEET lifestyle, he decides to search online for a private military security company, impressed by the potential benefits. Following a perplexing examination process, he is selected to become an "operator of operators" and soon embarks on training in a foreign land.
Unbeknownst to him, the existence of a private mercenary is much more arduous and demanding than he anticipated!
