Megaman ZX takes place two centuries after the era of Megaman Zero, as reploids and humans now live together in harmony. Our story follows two teenagers, Aile and Vent, who struggle to overcome a tragic event from their past. Ten years earlier, they lost their mothers in a Maverick attack at an amusement park. Now, they work for Giro, the owner of Giro Express, a transportation service. On a rendezvous to deliver a package, they are ambushed by Mavericks, causing the package to be lost. Aile and Vent set out to retrieve it, only to discover that their client was the leader of the Guardians. As they attempt to explain their situation, they are attacked again, prompting Biometal X to reveal itself. This powerful Biometal merges with Aile and Vent, granting them immense strength to protect their city and uncover the mastermind behind the Maverick raids. Along the way, they learn that Giro is actually Megaman Z, who works with the Guardians.
