The day starts in the Takashiro household with Meika Kujou, Kouta Takashiro's personal maid, waking him up. Meika was enlisted by Kouta's father out of gratitude and has been working for him for a year. While having a classmate and a maid in one seems convenient, it also means sharing living quarters with a girl.
Meika has always maintained a professional relationship with Kouta, but lately she has been slipping up. She struggles to contain her growing feelings for Kouta, despite his obliviousness to her racing heart. Though hopeful, Meika is unwilling to acknowledge her emotions so long as Kouta fails to pick up on the hints.
However, denying one's true feelings can only last so long, and Meika and Kouta's emotional walls slowly begin to crumble.
