Reno's new roommate at the boys' school is known as Roje, a reputed "Casanova" who will have physical relationships with anyone for the right price. Although this reputation precedes him, Reno is taken aback by Roje's matter-of-fact view of their encounters, ending them when they are misinterpreted as more than a business deal. Reno is bewildered by Roje's detached demeanor, his lack of guilt, and reluctance to form a bond between them. As Reno tries to come to terms with his curiosity, he contemplates if he can subdue his emotions, given that Roje only seems to have a financial interest in their relationship.
