Moving from Tokyo to the small town of Ootsuuma was a life-changing experience for Haruka Nozaki. Unfortunately, it wasn't for the better. For six months, Nozaki has been enduring relentless bullying from her classmates who use her as a punching bag for their pent-up anger and frustration. She refrains from fighting back or confiding in her parents to lessen their worries. She decides to grin and bear it until graduation.
One day, Nozaki's bullies subject her to a traumatic ordeal that her parents eventually discover, causing her to stop attending school.
