Mitsuki Miko's latest narrative focuses on the love between a human and a vampire, an offshoot of her celebrated vampire one-shots. Hinata, a regular student in a Catholic institution, stumbles upon unsettling information linking recent crime scenes in her locality with a possible vampire's doing. Following a string of inquiries, Hinata suspects that her new next-door neighbor, Tokinaga Junya, a celebrated writer of vampire-human romantic tales, may be behind the acts. However, as Hinata digs deeper, she realizes that Junya may have hidden depths. In line with the laws governing vampires in his works of fiction, vampires may only consume the blood of the person they've kissed, thereby sealing a binding contract. Junya swears he's never kissed anyone, casting doubt on his actual vampire status.
