In this tale, we follow the lives of two siblings: Shizuru, who attends high school and has the ability to perceive spirits, and her younger sister Mizuki, who is constantly tormented by these phantasms. Bewildered by their unique talents, their parents made the decision to surrender the sisters to their grandparents' care, relocating them to the rustic countryside. As they settle into their new environment, Shizuru and Mizuki are taught the significance of peacefully coexisting with the natural world, including the ethereal beings that reside within it.
