The Mondlicht are a type of vampire that cannot tolerate the sun's daylight and must depend on human blood to survive. They are, in fact, nothing more than frightened teenagers attempting to survive without hurting others or being slain, despite their talents. This becomes even more complicated when they are pursued by an artificial human known as F08, created by Dr. Frankenstein for the purpose of wiping them out. Nonetheless, when F08's first encounter resulted in the demise of the Mondlicht's leader, the girl responsible for F08, who has wings identical to those of the creatures she's seeking, retaliated. What side will she take? Can the Mondlicht ever find tranquility?
