In her middle school years, Nanoka was given her first confession which made her believe that the boy truly loved her. As they started a relationship, Nanoka eventually realized that the boy was only using her to impress his peers. This betrayal left her unsure about entering another romantic relationship as she moved on to high school.
But then, a serendipitous meeting with a stranger who was experiencing heartbreak at a fast food restaurant changed her outlook. Both Nanoka and the stranger shared similar experiences of being hurt in past relationships, causing her to reevaluate her reservations. She bumped into the stranger again on the streets and decided to confess her feelings. Unfortunately, they were from different worlds.
