For sixteen years, Seiya Toudouin has grappled with a nagging question that has left him perpetually vexed: "Why can't I manage to find a girlfriend?" Despite his impressive academic records, decent athletic prowess, and modest good looks, he's yet to secure a romantic partner. He's come close to success a few times in the past, but each failed attempt has left him with bitter memories. Determined to change his fortunes during high school, Seiya sets himself an audacious objective.
Unfortunately, what appears to be a trivial undertaking for others presents a formidable challenge for Seiya, thanks to his lack of experience and social awkwardness. However, he persists, firmly convinced that a girlfriend is what he needs. Although the odds are against him, he refuses to be disheartened in his pursuit.
