Jaerin, the seemingly cool college girl, has a hidden obsession with Hwi, the male lead of her much-loved historical drama "Hwaya," and spends her days as a reclusive geek. After reluctantly agreeing to work as an extra for a TV show at the request of her family, Jaerin arrives on set only to discover it's for "Hwaya." However, with her clumsy movements, she bombs her shot, and her problems escalate when she accidentally bumps into the conceited actor who plays Hwi, Ahn. Despite her adoration for Hwi, Jaerin cannot stand Ahn's self-centered personality. Strangely, fate intervenes, and a terrible accident transports Jaerin and Ahn into "Hwaya's" world, where fiction becomes a reality. Jaerin must embrace her destiny as Hwaya, the dragon maiden, to save her kingdom from destruction, flawlessly deliver her lines, navigate a foreign universe, tolerate Ahn, and demonstrate her valor as the heroine Hwaya in a world with no do-overs.
