The ancient city of Pompeii, once home to mighty warriors, now lies forgotten and buried in its own ruins. Keidai Saeki, a high school student, is the reincarnation of one of these warriors, Sirix, and remembers his past life vividly.
While he keeps his memories to himself at school, Keidai confides in his closest friend, Mii Serizawa, who was once Loleus, Sirix's best friend. Unlike Loleus, Serizawa harbors romantic feelings for Keidai, who remains oblivious.
Keidai longs for his wife from his past life, Serena, but his hopes are dashed when his new neighbor, Yuuma Ujoh, turns out to be Serena's reincarnation and falls for Serizawa. Plagued by Sirix's memories, Keidai must decide whether to stay in the past or pave a new future for himself.
