Despite her impoverished background caused by her father's gambling, Ootani Rin is attending a prestigious high school on a scholarship. She has been the sole provider for her mother and sisters since her father's disappearance. Although her school prohibits students from working part-time jobs, Rin is unperturbed since her fellow students come from affluent families. Nonetheless, a particular boy becomes curious about her after discovering her secret job. Forced to silence him, she has to prepare a bento for him.
