Satoshi Kiji's fascination with extraordinary insects leads him to chance upon a young lady possessing wings and a bug-like body. Upon taking responsibility for her, he dubs her Ogeha and interacts with her in the same way as he would with any other insect, continuously prodding and flicking her. Ogeha, being completely unfamiliar with anything else, just accepts her fate of perpetual anguish and questions if that is her sole purpose. As Ogeha travels with Kiji and his monstrous bug, a sinister relationship materializes between them, while Ogeha's background remains an enigma.
