As a freshman, Ringo Itsuki was known for her extraordinary talent: studying. When she was pressured into tutoring Budou Tsurugi, an abrasive upperclassman and brother of Minori Tsurugi, the school's Mr. Popular, she realized that they clashed more than they tutored. Determined to uncover the reason for Budou's reluctance to learn, Ringo resorted to spying on him, and discovered a different dimension to his rough demeanor.
