Kouki's life is lacking in many aspects - he has no hobbies, friends, romantic partner, stable job, and even lacks the will to continue living. His path crosses with a group of children which leads to him being stabbed, which he sees as an escape from his miserable existence. As he slips away into unconsciousness, he catches a glimpse of a beautiful "divine being." Unexpectedly, he regains consciousness after merely thirty days, but now finds himself burdened with enormous debts. Furthermore, the same remarkable angel he saw earlier is now his roommate, oblivious to their prior encounter. Kouki must learn to navigate this unusual and peculiar situation.
