After the Meiji era, a young woman was persecuted and met a tragic end by being crucified and burned. 100 years later, Katori and her childhood friends are summoned to the afterlife beyond nirvana. They receive a daunting mandate to establish a kingdom and spread their beliefs to all people.
At midnight every night, the group receives a random assignment of King/Queen, Noble, or Peasant. They have a strict hierarchy that requires them to work together to triumph over rival nations and conquer the world. Nevertheless, their personal hidden desires could ruin their task and their mission of ruling the world.
