Born to a novelist father and an eroge illustrator mother, Kanou Shinichi is a bona fide otaku with an extensive knowledge of all things "moe," be it anime, gaming, literature, or collectibles. One day, he finds himself whisked away to a fantastical world filled with mythical creatures and an enormous undertaking: serving as a cultural ambassador between two vastly different worlds. Instead of fighting monsters or engaging in quests, Shinichi's mission is to introduce the moe culture to the inhabitants of the fantasy world. Accompanied by a fujoshi palace guard, a half-elf maid, and a young empress, he sets out to form meaningful connections and proposes to open a school. However, Shinichi quickly discovers that his task is far from easy; he encounters numerous obstacles, including inter-ethnic discrimination and social upheaval, conflict with other nations, and subversive factions seeking to undermine his progress. These issues do not just exist in the fantasy world; they follow him back to Japan, his home country. Will Shinichi overcome these challenges, facilitate cultural exchange, and improve the lives of both worlds' inhabitants?
