At his high school, Sugano Ikkei is your average teenage boy who shares a home with his older brother Hyakkei. Hyakkei's job as an editor at a publishing company involves supporting many artists and writers. Unfortunately, he's broken his leg and can't depart from the hospital for at least a week–which poses a problem since he's expected to attend a long-awaited, in-person meetup with author Tokito Aona who is extremely shy.
Fortunately, Hyakkei and Ikkei are lookalikes. Therefore, he convinces Ikkei to dress up as him and attend the meeting in his place. The meeting with Tokito goes flawlessly, and Ikkei successfully impersonates his older brother. However, Ikkei is given the unexpected task of attending a meeting with an artist named Fujimaki Misuzu, who's relocating to Tokyo. Ikkei is shocked to realize that both Tokito Aona and Fujimaki Misuzu are students in the same classroom as him!
Now, Ikkei has to balance being an editor to both girls as Hyakkei and be their classmate as Ikkei. The challenge is to keep the truth hidden and not disclose that he's the same person.
