There is a tale of an oak forest where those who died with immense remorse would come back as immortal vampires. In 1980, London's streets were built over that same forest. The notorious "Alleyway Killer" has been making headlines for slaughtering and draining his victims of blood during the nighttime.
One evening, while on a stroll, Alan Everett stumbles upon a lady who asserts to have been followed and would have been the killer's next target. She is thrilled to see Alan and reveals she is Marie Noblue. She implores Alan to take her home as she has nowhere else to go, and he acquiesces. Although he is comfortable living with a stranger, fragments of memories, he cannot recollect come to mind. Marie gets arrested, suspected to be the Alleyway Killer, and Alan is unsure of his feelings. Did she intentionally seek him out or cross his path to have revenge on someone responsible for her death over two centuries ago?
