In a world where some individuals have distinctive abilities, those who use them for good are called heroes, while those who take advantage for evil purposes are known as fiends. Chiaki is a young unemployed person caring for his siblings, searching for a job. During his journey to a job interview, he witnesses someone being preyed upon by a predator and immediately acts to save them. This natural sense of justice and fairness propels Chiaki into a journey full of conflicts between good and evil, truth and deceit, and clarity and darkness.
