The Hunters Guild is an agency of mercenaries in a world full of fantasy creatures and fearsome monsters, eagerly accepting perilous jobs of slaying beasts for money. Despite rumors of their greed, their effectiveness in getting the job done cannot be disputed.
When a man-eating werewolf threatens a small, suffering hamlet, the desperate mayor hires Grimm, an unusual-looking hunter, to put an end to the terror. Though skeptical of her childlike appearance, the villagers have no other options and pray that she lives up to the guild's reputation.
Velou, who lost his parents to a werewolf attack as a child, is eager to join the hunt, but his inexperience makes him ineligible. However, when tasked with guiding Grimm through the treacherous forests and facing off against the werewolf alongside her, he proves himself worthy and is invited to join the Hunters Guild. Despite his concerns for his hometown, the allure of exterminating werewolves is too enticing to resist, and Grimm is determined to ease his worries while recruiting new hunters for the guild.
