Due to the discovery of an alternative fuel source known as "Thunder-Cores," technology has evolved drastically, allowing for the creation of longer-lasting cars, trains, and Air-Ships. This advancement has greatly improved society.
Tatsu Frampt, a young boy residing in an isolated orphanage, dreams of becoming an Air-Ship captain and traveling the world with his comrades. Despite being informed that they are being kept away from society due to a sickness that causes iron to grow in their bodies, Tatsu is determined to achieve his dream.
However, tragedy strikes when the orphanage is attacked, leaving Tatsu as the only survivor. In the aftermath, he discovers the true nature of his supposed "disease." Six years later, Tatsu embarks on a mission to rescue his friends and eliminate anyone who dares to interfere.
