In America during the 1980s, there lived an Amish lad known as Theo. To experience the customary rite-of-passage called Rumspringa, which calls for members of his conservative community to venture out of their religious fold and explore life in the outside world, Theo visits a bar. At this establishment, he encounters Oz, a former aspiring Broadway artist who now works as a waiter.
