During a sanctioned bout, Raion Ryuu, a skilled karate fighter, inflicts such powerful strikes on his opponent that they inadvertently explode into heaps of steaming meat. As retribution for his actions, he cloaks himself in a sutra-infused mask that curbs his devastating strength and retreats into hiding with his psychic sister. However, his former master and the fiancé of his deceased victim eventually pursue him. Although it may seem that they seek to avenge their loved one against Ryuu, they are actually following directions from above to quell his rise as the Antichrist. God himself has ordered a hit on the enigmatic warrior.
