Ryuu sneaks onto a space vessel, and by the time the crew discovers him, it's too late to take him back to Earth. Instead, he is placed in a spare sleep capsule. But Ryuu's fate takes an unexpected turn when he emerges from his capsule to find that the spaceship has crashed on an unrecognizable and grotesquely mutated Earth, and he is the only survivor.
Teaming up with other survivors from a separate crash, Ryuu and his allies must battle for survival on this perilous new planet while also searching for any other remaining humans who might have survived the baffling apocalypse.
