On the first day of high school, Saitou boasts about his super power in front of the class with an air of arrogance. He envisions a scenario where all the girls are bowled over by his special ability, skyrocketing his popularity. However, his attempt to impress his peers with his spoon-bending skills turns out to be a cheap trick, leaving him exposed to ridicule. Saitou soon discovers that several other students possess super powers, and there's even a club dedicated to research on these abilities. He finds companionship with an indestructible girl, a telekinetic girl with a violent streak, and a mind-reader. Despite his hopes for a high school life filled with adoring fans, Saitou finds that his power pales in comparison to his new friends.
