Rii and his apprentice, Raberu, both skilled sorcerers, dwell in a hilly region beyond Geru, alongside a multitude of other practitioners of magic. While Raberu devotes himself to honing his magical abilities, Rii, an enigmatic and idiosyncratic figure, leads an unremarkable existence. Despite his eccentricities, Rii is a stern yet compassionate mentor to Raberu, though his true persona and the reason for his tutelage remain shrouded in mystery.
