Sakura Juuyuushi centers on the Sakura family, who have been involved in sake brewing for generations. One fateful day, the daughter discovers a katana in their warehouse. As she draws it from its sheath, the sword inexplicably glows. The title of the manga is a nod to Sanada Juuyuushi, a tale about a group of 10 ninja who aided warlord Sanada Yukimura during Japan's Warring States period.
