While working with a fashion photographer, makeup artist Tatsuo becomes annoyed as the models lavish new hairstylist Haga with constant attention. However, after observing a model leave Haga's room in tears, Tatsuo decides to confront his colleague's rude and withdrawn behavior. Tatsuo discovers that Haga lacks meaningful friendships and struggles with treating others respectfully. Despite this revelation, Tatsuo makes the effort to form a friendship with Haga, and they develop a deep bond. In addition to their tale, the narrative includes a one-shot called "Onizuka-sensei no Okiniiri" and a spin-off called "Moshi Koi da Toshite" (If This is Love, Goodbye My Dear Friend).
