In 1921, during the 100th year of the Taisho era, Tokyo - once the capital - was destroyed in the Great Taisho Disaster. Nonetheless, Ohkyo, the new capital, made a remarkable recovery around a sacred cherry tree called "Senbonzakura." However, supernatural occurrences began to increase in frequency after the catastrophe, casting a shadow over the city's restoration. To counter evil forces, the Kami-Tsuki Special Sakura Platoon stood as a protective shield to keep the peace.
One beautiful spring day, Miku joined her family to see the cherry blossoms. While searching for her older sister, she wandered near a mammoth cherry tree and discovered herself attired in military clothing. Suddenly, a transgender ninja attacked her! Fortunately, twin siblings Rin and Len appeared as members of the Kamitsuki Special Sakura Platoon and saved her.
