Initially, Masayoshi Kurozuka may appear to be an ordinary high school student. However, he soon discovers a shocking truth - he is the reincarnation of a sinister woman known as Oni-hime. During Japan's turbulent era of war, Oni-hime bargained her soul away to the devil, forever sullying her reputation. Masayoshi is now forced to confront the repercussions of his newly discovered identity as he battles against an army of wrathful spirits. These ghosts are the anguished remnants of those who were mercilessly killed by Oni-hime. In order to lift this curse, Masayoshi must decipher the riddle of Oni-hime's unholy pact with the devil and seek absolution on the behalf of her wicked deeds to the unforgiving phantoms who seek vengeance.
