Kadokura Kyouko is a 33-year-old grade school teacher who loves her job and has a kind and nurturing personality. Unfortunately, she only seems to be popular among her pupils, and her chances of finding a husband appear to be slim.
On the other hand, Yamato Kazuki is a 20-year-old university student with aspirations of becoming an astronaut, and marrying Kyouko. He has been enamored with Kyouko since she became his homeroom teacher in the fourth grade. Now that he has enough money to buy a ring, he decides to propose, and to his astonishment, Kyouko agrees to become his girlfriend.
Despite being a couple, their teacher-student dynamic hasn't changed much. What fate awaits this unlikely pair?
