Jiang Yang is a game developer who accidentally travels to two different worlds. In the first, she becomes a cultivator who seeks to ascend to the heavens and return to her original world. However, because of a mysterious thread of causality, she is drawn into a second world, where she meets the protagonist of an otome game, Xing Lu.
Jiang Yang decides to help Xing Lu get rid of unwanted suitors and defend herself from bullies, using her cultivation skills and even her own body. But as they grow closer, Jiang Yang discovers that his connection with Xing Lu is not as simple as it seems...
