Perched atop a steep hill in the charming town of Onomichi sits a building, featuring a welcoming lounge that's open to all. Inside, a unique and friendly group gathers, each with their own tales to tell.
One member of the group is Tasuku Kaname, a troubled high school student struggling with his sexual identity. After his classmates discover his potential homosexuality, he considers ending his life. While questioning his own existence, Tasuku witnesses an enigmatic woman jumping from a nearby building. Rushing to her aid, he finds her unscathed and learns she is the owner of a place called "Anonymous."
Moved to help Tasuku, Anonymous picks up on his apprehension and offers a listening ear to his struggles. Through their conversation, Tasuku realizes that accepting his sexuality is his biggest obstacle. The heartfelt and thought-provoking Shimanami Tasogare holds up a mirror to the challenges faced by those coming to terms with their sexuality, both within and outside the LGBTQ+ community.
